Lippi: Italy Is Supposed to Win!

Italian national team coach; Marcello Lippi, regretting the results achieved by his team following a 1-1 draw against Paraguay in World Cup group stage match in 2010 in South Africa, Monday (06/14/2010). He also said it would try to improve the quality of the game to Italy to face two games remaining in the group phase.
Referring to statistics, Italy is superior. During the 90th minute, Italy recorded a mastery of the ball as much as 57 percent and shots on five goals out of ten. As for Paraguay, they only had a golden opportunity out of seven attempts.
“Disgraceful, we got behind because we played very well. There is a big regret because we deserved to win. In the first half, they scored a goal with one of the dead ball opportunity. We reacted very well, but we should be doing more,” said Lippi.
