Agger; Committed the Own Goal (Revised FIFA)

The International Federation of Association Football, commonly known as FIFA, make some changes about Daniel Agger own goal in a duel Danish vs. Dutch in City Stadium, Johannesburg, on Monday (14/6/10). FIFA sees, Daniel Agger shot became the first own goal in this 2010 World Cup.

Previously, Simon Poulsen listed as the one who committed the ‘own goal’, which gives advantage to the Dutch. The reason, he is a “brain” of the creation of goals in the 46th minute, which makes the Netherlands a fresh wind to win the inaugural match of allowance for Group E.

Instead of throwing the ball to the front, Poulsen’s head ball hit Ager’s back and rolling into the goal, having had time to hit the right pole. Goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen just stared at the rocking nets.
