Apparently, his decision was very sensible for the reason that Buffon had a little injury at his back. As a result, this Juventus goalkeeper could not continue the game. On 45 minutes the second half of the duel at the Stadium of Cape Town, Marchetti, Cagliari then replaced his position.

Though, Buffon’s injury is not too serious as he is positive to recover in two days. Therefore, the number one “GLI Azzurri” goalkeeper said that when they play on the second group stage match against New Zealand on next June 20, his condition must have been 100 percent fit.

About this slight disturbance, the team medical doctor; Enrico Castellacci said he could not release any information about it before he conduct a series of diagnostic tests.
